Movies:The Good Thief
From Tractatus
If Nick Nolte was not born to play an aging heroin-addicted ex-con gambler, the intervening years have only made him more perfect for the role. Directed by Neil Jordan(The Crying Game), this remake of Bob Le Flambeur is an almost perfect heist film.
The visual style of this film is without peer, overshadowed only by the incredible score, and sound. Nolte's raspy voice carries you from the depths right back to the last last score which will put him on top again. Provided he follows all the rules, and plays it to the limit. Good for him that he has the lovely hostess Anne(Nutsa Kukhianidze) to bring back the luck he needs to steal a fortune.
