Swing Dancing/Triple step replacement
From Tractatus
A triple step replacement is a step which you can do instead of a triple step. The key features are:
- It takes two logical beats.
- It has to fit in the music where a triple step would go.
- Your weight after the step is on the opposite foot from the one you started on.
- It does not require you to change the sequence of weight shifts. See Triple step rearranging
- It does not involve any radical weight changes.
- If you make a very different dance shape, like say crossovers, follower will naturally enter a different dance pattern. Fun, but not a replacement.

Syncopated Jump
use the first step in the triple to jump, and syncopate the landing: Jump [pause] land-step. You can do it while turning for extra coolness.
